What are cookies?

How can I manage my cookies?

- Under the ‘Under the Hood’ tab, look for ‘Privacy’ and select ‘Content Settings’.
- Now select ‘Allow local data to be set’.
For Safari
- Click on the Safari Menu in the top of your browser window and select ‘Preferences’.
- Click on ‘Security’ and then tick the option that says: ‘Block cookies from third parties and advertisers’.

I do not come from Belgium. Is a different form of cookie approval required for my country?
It is possible that not only Belgian citizens visit the webshop. The Member States of the European Union often implement their cookie legislation quite differently, so that it is often difficult for the User to find out how permission to use cookies must be given. BEARS CO. makes every attempt to indicate the correct implementation method for each member state, to the extent that this is technically and materially possible.
What are my rights?
As an involved party you have the right of fair and lawful processing of your personal data. You may exercise follow rights:
- Right of opposition: one can object to the processing of personal data if there are serious and lasting reasons ;
- Right of access: each party involved who shows proof of identity has the right of access to information about whether the processing of personal data does take place, the specific purposes of the processing, the categories of data and the categories of recipients to whom data may be disclosed.
- Right of improvement: incorrect or incomplete personal data may be improved or even blotted out at the request of the data subject.
